  TEST COMMENTS The Wisconsin technique is sensitive to 10 eggs per gram. The combinations of these 2 techniques will not only give you the eggs per gram but also help diagnose parasites that have low egg production (i.e. Nematodirus sp., Eimeria macusaniensis, Trichuris sp.) Fecal samples must be less than 48 hours old. Refrigerate samples as soon as possible after collection, but do not freeze.
